I see, with command structure, if the dog tried they should receive a conditioned punisher instead of a primary punisher (or correction depending on the phase). This is the “no”. Nothing actually happens on the “no”.
I would be concerned about adding gestures back because it can be counterintuitive if you are going to try to advance the training to p3 and 4. If you were a client I would suggest putting more focus on helping her feel confident doing the behaviors just on the verbal command. This may take some time but it is so worth it!
