    Its generally not necessary to get your hands on the dog during a consult for a serious aggression case. Most things can be accomplished by working with the owner and then the owner working with the dog. Some cases its not safe for the owner to work with the dog until the dog is trained to a muzzle. Once you have established a relationship with the dog in subsequent visits you can work with them muzzled or with safety gloves or other equipment if necessary .
