Ha! I can actually picture Bob enjoying his rolling in the grass in that Bully way. I don’t think its a big deal that he does this in the grass unless you can’t recover him from it and take a proper walk on anything but pavement.
As for the muzzle, . If you are at all unsure that he can flip it over the edge of his nose, I would add a center strap on the one you have if it doesn’t already. You can fashion one out of parachute cord. It adds that last bit of security, but is mainly if you are allowing dog dog interaction. Otherwise if he is leashed the set up you have should be sufficient.
