Thanks for the additional thoughts Kim.

One of the reasons I have been looking for a trainer is to have the facilities, to be able to create the scenarios where the unwanted reactivity can be focused on directed activity.

It just seemed odd courses taken before protection work could alter a dogs temperament.

I understand the liability issue. I just figured that would be done on a case by case basis after a home, and personal evaluation to find how responsible the parties involved are.
