Ritualized aggression is a weird term to me as aggression is (from what I understand) mostly a result of conflict (real or perceived), usually we see submissive behaviors indicating the subordinate animals, rather dominance displays. Dominance is meant to reduce conflict. I have seen the video you are referring to, very interesting. There is something to be said for captivity causing problems….kind of like people having sexually mature dogs with no leadership…..
