Lots of good suggestions. I like the vomeronasal stimulation idea.
We do have a large pen in the living room but currently it’s being used by the one dog that doesn’t get along with him. In the meantime, I am working to acclimate him to an ex-pen with toys, so hopefully he will get to a point where he can use that.
Yeah, I saw those parts of the article and was thinking those could backfire, but the rest had pretty good information.
One thing that he doesn’t fit in the description is the wandering (at least for now). He’s constantly behind my legs on either side, and I saw some of the breeders adults following in a similar manner. Teaching a traditional heel may be easy with him.
