    If you haven’t I would suggest watching at least from the “balancing the drives” down, I think it would help a lot.

    Off the top of my head, from the little bit of details you provided, I would suggest something active like tug and something for the brain like training after the 4-hour break between 3-7. Working on “settling” after what i think is inactivity would probably be fighting mother nature, especially in a terrier pup.

    I am not sure where he is during the inactive times, but the more you can take advantage of tie outs or other management devices to keep him around you and many shorter training sessions the better.
