    The ‘makes them feel cool’ made me laugh lol.  Im all for the communication theory.  Its the only one that makes perfect sense to me and is backed by observational evidence.

     

    The hiding the scent theory i dont like. Any animal that has scent good enough to smell a wolf, would smell the wolf anyway even if the stinky scent is on them or next to them.
