Dalmatians are such special dogs. I would just explain both sides to the owner. The risks and benefits of both sides and then send them material to back it up. Some vets want early neutered dogs to prevent breeding. Dr. Becker has some very good videos explaining her take on her clientele and how some people prefer not to have the added responsibility of having an intact dog. It’s hard sometimes refraining from giving biased advise to owners. But, as Mike reminds me, it’s my job to give clients facts and be truthful, not judge or advise their personal life choices. For a control freak, that’s difficult.
