Trained by Teresa
Teresa Stanczak started her work with dogs when she was 12 years old by volunteering at South Putnam Animal Hospital in Putnam County, New York. Now with over 30 years of continuous experience under her belt, Teresa has a Bachelors degree in Veterinary Technology, is an experienced Licensed Veterinary Technician, High School Animal Science Teacher and adjunct professor at Westchester Community College. She is also a life time student of continued education, and certified Foundation Style Dog Trainer.
Teresa has over 20 years experience educating puppy and dog owners about all aspects of dog training, behavior, husbandry, and health concerns. She has apprenticed with well known dog trainers and behaviorists such as Mike D’Abruzzo of K9-1 Specialized Dog Training, and Steve Diller.
Teresa runs a business called simply “Trained by Teresa” where she offers guidance to families who wish to maximize their relationships with their dogs and help them achieve all their training goals.
