Another good bite. limited shaking/one grip full mouth.
Police Dogs - Primarily trained in Prey, although the "prey may fight back". It will not make sense to a dog to search for something it must defend against.
Pure Defensive Bites - Front of mouth. Quick multiple bites. Not past the canines. Meant to cause pain but also allows the option for the target to back away and/or dog to back away easily.
Pure Prey - Full mouth/deep. Not designed specifically to cause pain. The goal is to kill. More surface area for holding on to something trying to escape without breaking teeth.
Fighting Techniques - "prey may fight back" or for helping with any type of aggressive confrontation.
- Rebite - Bite deeper. To suffocate. to get a better grip. to kill.
- Pull down - To anchor, bring down, bring closer to set up for a rebite, or tear. May cause death although not primary motivation. very much a pack behavior. Used effectively to drag suspects.
- Transfer - To move to a better fighting or "killing area" or to avoid injury.
- Thrash/Shake -
The figure 8 thrash. Shake/thrash to cause submission or "knock out" prey.
The quick shake. The "U" shake. Stunning and killing small animals.
