About 10 minutes into the video — when you are doing all those hokey-pokey steps in order to teach Darcy to disregard whatever movements you make w/your R foot AND to remain standing behind your left foot until you step forward w/your left foot — you didn’t say ‘Heel’ until she moves forward, at which point you say ‘Heel.’ I wonder if it wouldn’t be better to say ‘Heel’ before you start doing the hokey-pokey. But I’m not sure, because there’s no hokey-pokey in Phase 1 Heel, so Darcy has no way of knowing what those steps mean. Not sure if i’m being ‘techincal’ or just nit-picking. 🙂
You did say ‘Heel’ but you didn’t mention that that’s what you tell clients to do. That’s what confused me.
Excellent tips Mike thanks!!!
