I am the owner of two rescue Dogo Argentino, and the decision to adopt them has been a bittersweet experience. There have been serious conflicts in the house, and I had to admit to myself I was lacking the knowledge to solve the issue. Before this, I had a german shepherd, and also some rottweilers, and I was convinced to be an experienced dog owner. Now I realize I know nothing, but that is ok. This humbling experience makes me search for knowledge, suck up every piece of info in order to get better at managing, training and living with these majestic creatures. I hope to learn a lot on this site, maybe enough to reintroduce my dogs after a long period of total separation. That is the ultimate goal. |
