hahahahaha thats a great clip ! Yeah it probably is Italian Mother syndrome.  She’s about 2 years old and has been the same weight for probably a year or so which is 60lbs.  I would love to switch her to raw just for the sake of not just eating chicken kibble.  I know she needs a better mix which is why i’ve been buying the freeze dry raw meal mixers so she can get a variety of  different animals and different parts of the animal.

Thank you for sending me that link because the portions and what you can and cannot feed is what i was confused about.  That site is great guidelines for making the switch!

Or any of the raw meals like Tylee’s or Instinct or something of that nature.

Thanks for responding! Sorry i’m responding so late.  I think my email notification went to my spam folder. Thank God i haven’t had any issues with her being aggressive to the point of biting someone. i honestly don’t think she would but then again she is a dog so you never know. It’s so weird with her because its hit or miss with men how she would react.  Most put their hand out for her to smell and she would, then she would let them pet her and then she would back up and start barking.  They would ignore her at that point.  i’ve had male relatives come to the house where she would have the same initial reaction, but now shes used to them so all she wants to do is jump on them now.

She’s been better-so far items are in tact lol I’ve given her a few things to keep busy such as taping a cardboard box closed and putting treats inside for her to get at. Now the question is how do i test her to leave her in the house while I’m away? I feel like i should still leave bathroom doors closed (she would drink toilet water or chew on the toilet paper) and the playroom door closed-lots of goodies for her to get in there =/

I will def try these tips.  I dont really make my leaving a big deal however, our hellos she makes a huge deal. I try to calm her down or ignore her but she makes it seem like i was gone for weeks and will try to throw her body on me which i would just turn away from her until she is more calm then greet her.  I usually make her go in the room, lay some of her toys out, and just leave.   When i come home and let her out she wants to bolt out of the room, more so when she’s destroyed something =(

I’m going to try and start from the bottom and work my way up.  I like the treat idea and she would def destroy the box which i would have no issue with…better that then my rug lol  What kind of frozen treats can i use for the Kong?  i have a horn that she loves to chew on that is hollow inside where i sometimes throw in the peanut butter in..but im sure that lasts for about 5 mins.

Thank you guys so much. I have such anxiety coming home wondering what i might of left out or what she has ripped to shreds.

She’s been eating better.  It took her a while just to finish a 6 lbs bag of dog food.  I received my delivery of the 17 lbs bag the other day.  She’s been eating it all up and rather quickly too.  I wonder if she just likes a newly opened bag vs a bag that’s been open for a week…..that or she’s getting her beach body ready.

I am sticking to my guns and not switching dog food on her.  =)

I too am having an issue with adding a photo in the “my dog” information page.  When i try to add a picture of my dog it tells me that i do not have permission to attach files to that post.

Ok well that’s good to hear that i don’t have to buy another brand.  I’ve been giving her 1 1/2 cups in the morning with some fish oil mixed in and the same amount with a small scoop of the raw bits in for dinner.  I’ll just stick to my guns and not give into her sad puppy dog face in asking for something else =)

I just thought if she wasn’t eating she wont get her nutrients and that’s why i thought she would get sick.

    Thanks guys!

i haven’t thought about a pen. Thats a good idea but im wondering if she can destroy it or hop over it.  The room she is in is pretty big so its not like she has no room. So far i’ve been leaving her inside the house while im outside for 10 mins and testing her that way.  I spot a few things such as chewed up toilet paper and going through the garbage but no major damage.
