    As far as I am aware no, no hand correction, so I don’t really see where the fear comes from. In fact most correction so far has been verbal and/or jerking on lead.

    Hi Michael – apologies for delay in responding: been on vacation 🙂

    wrt leadership chart, I would rate most areas as Provided, tending towards Entitled on the Affection area. This is mainly down to the fact that when she comes to me for affection, I generally  provide it on demand – which looks like a bad thing to do.

    As for the circumstance, it typically occurs when she is surprised by a sudden hand movement when she is resting, which makes me suspect that it is fear aggression, rather than resource guarding etc.  She does not normally display any aggression during training and goes into down/sit quite happily, although sometimes at a very slow pace.
