My 5month old shepherd stops,sits and waits without command and only comes through the door when I free him.just used premack principle exactly like Mike said and built up distance and time.so far this technique works mint for my young dog and he stays happy as ??

I’m also facing this issue with complications as one of my boys testicles havnt dropped yet and he’s 5 months old now.the vet tells me this can become cancerous if stays up and an extraction can be done if I get him neutered soon.

if anyone has been in this situation or has any knowledge for me please share.

Thanks Mike! That’s cleared up what I wanted to know.Going through phase 1 with 4month old German shepherd and just looking for the odd commands/techniques to introduce while he’s still young.Also heard that radio interview you did which was very informative and would recommend to anyone
