Sab is almost 9 months old. I got him at 5 1/2 months from the aspca in Manhattan. He's a little punk ;).

He is deaf, which I'm realizing is not that profound a handicap for a dog. As his owner/trainer, I have to become more fluent in his natural language, instead of him having to learn my words. In 3 months he's already made me a better trainer in that respect.

He's pretty awesome. Getting great with his basics, heels nicely, can focus in distractiing environments (deafness helps i think), recalls w the pager collar, will retreive items n deliver to hand already. 

He also growls at the vets, will give a warning nip to strangers who approach him funny, and will launch a full jumping, biting assault on people he really likes 😀
