No, not in a while…hard to get people willing to do a muzzle fight with her, LOL. That was actually her first time doing muzzle fighting. She split open that helper’s lip in that session actually. That was at a PSA club’s training, w
as able to sneak her in for some hits ;). I gotta get a muzzle vest for the guy I have working her for me now. Sport people are kinda “thrown back” by her, LOL.

Irocubabe, if you could shoot me a PM on who you use(d), I am moving to the outskirts of FOrney, closer to Terrell and Mesquite. My dog is already OB trained and I am just expanding on developing his PP skills more(he is PP trained already). Thanks!! They need to have “off breed” experience….my dog is Toro, the Dogo Argentino you see in one of Mike’s videos.

CM did not show clips with him holding the leash while the dogo aggressed towards another dog nor did it show CM giving any corrections for the DA. There were a few clips of the owners walking the dogo with it aggressing towards dogs on the street and them trying to handle it. The main thing they focused on was greeting people at the door and allowing the dogo to also greet “in pack order”. People were not the problem with this dogo, he was very loving to most people he met. They brought out an OEB that the dogo had attacked in the past and taught the female owner how not to react to DA, but the dogo barely even growled at the OEB, they didnt get close enough for a reaction. I am going to take a guess that they cut out the true DA clips and didnt show them for one reason or another. However, I must say I have seen much worse DA from dogos that are more dominant than this one was, this one was no where near like my late Paulo or even Toro. I am kinda disappointed in the show, I really wanted to see how he handled real dogo DA. I may just write the show with my comments.

MemberOctober 23, 2010 at 5:03 pm in reply to: Toro’s son Yoda and his long distance lover(LOL)It looks like his body is a little shorter in length, but it is hard to really tell cause Yoda is on a slippery floor and I don;’t think he is as stretched out as he could be. The dogo’s length should be 10% longer than the height at the withers, which I just measured and its about right. Tail length, cant tell casue they are holding onto it, LOL, Tail should reach down to the hocks, but not be longer. Yoda has tighter feet than Toro, though, which is a plus, and that comes from his mom’s side (Fe’s aunt is Yoda’s mom), Fe has the same tight cat feet, which they should have). Now they go through all sorts of wacky growth phases, so it will be hard to compare until he is mature.
