    Hi Harold,

    I just saw this post and there is a LOT to address. For starters I want to make sure that you have read through the full “triangle” in the selfhelp section of the web site. This sounds like a very confused and traumatized dog. There are huge violations in the “attitude”, “golden rules”, and “housebreaking” parts of foundation style dog training going on here to say the least. But, it would be easier for me to direct you to those sections to read or reread to see what you can troubleshoot first – than to rewrite those sections here.

    You should be able to answer after reading those sections why he is still having the trash problem and the growling problem and it has nothing to do with having to correct him harder.
