@Mike Thank you so much for this thoughtful feedback. This is so helpful. When we were drilling with her in front of me I started to feel that she read this is a poor attempt at play and seemed to me like she was trying to mostly show she didn’t want to interact in that way….but she wasn’t feeling defensive. I was also concerned because I don’t want to do anything to create a flight response. I like that she is slow and thinking and I’d rather take our time than challenge her constitution. I want to draw out her protectiveness and cultivate confidence so that she learned that her thinking is right and she continues to have discernment. Also…If I looked like I was being weirder than normal…..my neck and back are out….so I was off.
We meet again Monday. Ill share how the Mals are doing too. Roxy is def growing as an FSDT agitator and has plenty to think about with each rep. Its so fun to back and to have a “dog in the fight” as they say!
