Hi Hailey! You obviously put a lot of work into this. I skimmed through it, mainly looking for anything that stood out. Something grabbed me immediately so I went through the rest looking to see if it was a consistent theme…it was!!!! I love how in the definitions at the top you explained in a way that made it personal. This is so great for setting a cynopraxic tone. You continued this in each portion of instruction (at least the ones I looked at) and it’s GOLD. I think it’s wonderful when we we can be strict about mechanics and the science of behavioral modification while showing the client how (when done with the whole pyramid in practice) it nurtures deep and meaningful relationships with our dogs. The feedback I have gotten from clients is that this is a huge differentiation between FSDT and their experience with other trainers: we don’t have to treat our dogs like robots, or emotionally disconnect from the training, to have bad ass training, AND a loving and meaningful exchange. Your instruction is fostering this and I am here for it!!!!
