    1. Hi Chris and welcome! Congratulations on the new dog.

    There are many things we could disect here but first things first. Safety is always our first priority. Since he is a new dog to you and you are still learning about him set him up for success by keeping him out of situations that could get him into trouble. The first and most important thing to do is to review the leadership section. This is one of the most overlooked sections. This is where you want to start and where we advise all dog owners new or old to really pay attention to and follow. The importance of these exercises will set a good foundation for anything you want to achieve with him.
