Great video! My first thought is I see a dog who does not want to sit or down on wet surface. I usually coach my clients not to ask for this as the dog has to be unnecessarily uncomfortable to be obedient. The dog does not mistake this grace and mercy for weakness (as some training ideologies preach) they understand that you saw their discomfort and chose them over the task. It builds relationship. I think the dog’s body language and demeanor would improve if they could do tasks that didn’t involve sitting/laying on wet (maybe cold) ground. The heel is off to a good start! You have obviously worked very hard at it and been very technical! Sooo good! I saw a few corrections on the no, and not naming corrections other times but in the moment it’s a lot to think about.
