As for the “closer” command, unfortunately practice can be painful 😀 I have added a verbal command but I use it when the dog is really pulling all the time and I usually start marking when the client is on intervals with other commands so that we can reward the dog for being on a loose leash. Here, the “leave it” or “look| command would be more useful when the dog is pulling to something.
