    Thanks everyone for your responses!  It turned out that Hugo was having seizure/rage problems.  He ended up dying at 5+yrs old from DCM – he succumbed within two weeks.  Hugo was beautiful and brilliant!  He took over 62 commands  in German, French, Sign, and English – he was also a master at making up his own chained tricks.  He is sorely missed!
