I rescued Odin through BARC on November 14th, 2015. He was just loose skin hanging off of a frail skeleton and he gave me the look that said “This is it. If you don’t take me home, I’m done.” So I grabbed his leash and started walking. As weak as he was, he kept up with my pace, looking up at me the whole time. He really gave it his all to make a good impression, and I knew we needed each other. I’m not sure I’ve ever had a better friend than Odin. From the very beginning, he was perfectly well mannered and a total sweetheart. After a couple months, he had put on enough weight that he looked like a completely different dog. He worships my son, and he follows me everywhere I go. He has actually herded my son out of the rain and back to the patio. He is definitely the perfect dog for our family.
