Pit Bull Terrier
Navy came to me from a shelter where he was going to euthanized for aggression. He had taken hold of a kennel workers calf and bruised it. Navy is, when he is calm, very soft and cuddly. A ferocious licker. Likes to sit on your lap. Navy goes from 0 to 11 when he hears a strange noise, when a anything/one approaches the property. Navy has a high level of anxiety. Navy also has now "nipped" two people in my home. The bruising is substantial but it not exactly a bite.
Reducing sensitivity to sounds; being able to have strangers come into the home, stopping the nipping, the intense barking, and anything that is Navy at 11. Would like to instill more "levels" of alertness rather than 0 or 11.
