So, in order not to open another topic I’m uploading here a video of avoidance conditioning – if you can call it that, because in the video Koka doesn’t make any mistake, sometimes she’s just a little late, rather you can see my mistakes 😛 Right in front of the frame lies the stick we played with during the walk and we practiced a little with it, so a couple of times she wanted to run up to it. I hope Mike will give me credit for phase two 😛

I have been practicing (again) gestures with Coca, I can see that it is much easier for her to do exercises with the help of gestures or even practice on gestures only. The command “come” is new to her using gestures and you can see in the video that she hasn’t caught on yet.

For competitions such training is rather unsuitable 😀 However, I no longer complain to her as I used to, about every millimeter, about immobile front paws when changing commands, etc.. Instead, I see a big improvement in her body language, she no longer barks so much during exercise, etc. She continues to turn her head occasionally, sometimes she also licks her face, she happens to squint her eyes and to eliminate this I simply let her sit sideways or turn a little. But when we are in the city and we go on “heel”, then I demand perfection from her for safety, however, such “daily” training with a toy and fetch in the desert don’t require it and we just have fun.
