Ooooo good challenge for the look command! I’m gonna do that with Storm!!!!!!!

I like to keep the dogs and handlers focused on the task at hand, which is why I just have the handler’s revert to phase 1 and getting the dog through the command….and then carrying on with the escape conditioning. I feel like it also creates a sense of assistance and help and working through the discomfort and perceived conflict, to complete a task. It also helps coach the clients on how to utilize command structure to its full potential. This is just my experience, lots of dogs chomp on the leash in the beginning because it has not been a source of predictability and good things but that can definitely change with foundation style.
