Tell us about yourself: I am retired and live on a ranch with my husband. I love dogs and we have always had them on our ranch. Our last two dogs were German Shepherds, a brother and sister team who protected our goats (and us) from predators, which in our area are coyotes and Bob cats. They both died at a ripe old age and we recently got our present dog from the San Diego Humane Society. She is a Belgium Malinois and we are thrilled with her but we need to learn how to train her in obedience and protection, which is why I became a member of K9-1.
