Hi Mike, I went online to order the glycoflex 3 and it looks like they have formulas 1,2 and 3 with 3 being the one to use if there is already a problem. Should that still be the one that i’m using?

Thank you T. As far as reaching maturity age, am I likely to start seeing other changes? She’s been a pretty laid back girl up til now. Thanks to you I was able to cut nails and suddenly a couple of months ago she decided – not happening anymore. She will let me play with her paws and nails but not cut. I take out the clippers and treat while touching her nails lightly several times a week but once I go to clip she flips. Dr. Heiber tried to cut her nails and Bella howled like she was being killed! Any suggestions? I can roast marshmallows on those long nails!

What about the weekend house? I’ve never left her alone there but would like to. I have a crate there also. The windows are low and I worry she will push thru the screens. She’s definitely not as comfortable there as home.

Got it! last one, we have a weekend place and I have never left her alone there before but would like to start how do I integrate that in. We are there on average every other weekend, I have a crate there also. Just do that separately in one hour increments?

Hi T – how is the puppy?? Thanks for your reply. If I give her a kong or bone when I leave all the time won’t that make her very excited each time I leave ? If I keep increasing the time alone, at what point would you old up and put away the crate? If I’ve done under 2 hrs alone and have to leave for 4 hrs should I use the crate? Do these questions make sense, lol?

Update: picked up her food and she chased me to get it back! I did not relent and tossed the uneatten portion back into the bag. She stood and looked woefully at the bag for a while. So do I change foods again? Just switch to the adult? Did you see what I was talking about where you list Orijen as up there with the best?

Hi mike, thanks. I’m just a little confused. So Bella loves the Orijen – when I was researching foods I looked on this site and under “tools that we use” Orijen adult grainless is listed as one of the best. I get what you’re saying about the LBP being a marketing scam – it appears the difference is in the phosphorus / protein. So now I’m unsure whether to switch to the adult formula or just change foods all together. In the meantime I’ve begun picking up the food S soon as she turn away?

Ok so a follow up to my own post. Bella was eatting the Origen and
Picking out and leaving the wellness while i was trying to transition over – then the wellness lbp was recalled. So I just pulled the plug and made the switch no stomach problems.

I am still interested in s second food and knowing the correct way to rotate them. Also when do you switch from puppy to adult and how do I know how much to give her calories wise?
