    Have you thought about buying a large pen to keep her in?

    This way you can really control what items she has access to much better than locking her in a room.

    I’ve been giving her 1 1/2 cups in the morning with some fish oil mixed in and the same amount with a small scoop of the raw bits in for dinner.

    To give you point of reference, my female shepherd is full grown and about 65 lbs. She is an active dog and gets 2.75 cups of Orijen Regional Red per day, that comes out to about 1200 calories (kcal) per day.
