Hello! I read the instructions you wrote out, they were simple and easy to understand (perfect for clients!!!). Thank you for sharing this!!!
There are a couple tweaks that might be made to the mechanics, but as far as instruction…I think it’s great!
Suggested Tweaks:
*introducing the name with the command right away. Instead of “sit” “Stormy…..Sit” (I find it sets expectations for proper command structure with clients rights away and it teaches the dog what to expect when they hear their name).
*heel directive for a traditional heel behind the left leg instead of parallel to it. There is tons of cool stuff on phase 1 heel in the knowledge base. I can share links if you like.
*down from a standing or neutral position rather than a sit (perhaps prepare to instruct rewarding shaping efforts for the down)
