I will jump in. I think these are good and to the point. The only fine-tuning in the instruction would be a clearer distinction between interval and duration.
For instance, in the interval lesson, you mention “increasing the duration” between the intervals a couple of times. This could be confusing since the two terms are used interchangeably. There, it would be preferable to say that you are “increasing the interval between rewards,” which more clearly defines that you are speaking about the time between rewards and not the time of consistent behavior.
So, a dog can get many rewards at different intervals of time all during one behavior, but the duration terminology should be used to refer to the time of a consistent behavior or perhaps the time expectancy of a string of behaviors.
That being said, iin instructional videos, it isn’t necessary to use the terms interval and duration with clients. I often refer to the interval as “encouragement and rewards during the behavior” and the duration as “how long we want the dog to do the behavior” before a release/reward/premack etc…
