Hi Art, i’m actually succeed in this very easy in traning session, she know what “leave it” mean and can even avoid a piece of chicken while i go far and keep an eye contact, and then will eat only when i say “Take it”.
i think one of my mistake is that i’m let her have what i asked to leave after she leave it.
also i don’t think it’s generalized for leaving other dog/people on walks.
i can walk with her on loose leash only with no distractions at all.i don’t really know about the leadership question. i’m apllying the leadership exercises for a while,
but my dog is still approach me with her tail up, but she is a Canaan dog (shpitz) and her tail is almost always up.thank you.
